                               RESOLUTION NO. 19921 
        
        
        
                   RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OR
                   ADMINISTRATOR OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND
                   RECREATION TO EXECUTE LEASES NECESSARY FOR
                   CONSTRUCTION OF PHASE 4 OF THE RIVERPARK.

              WHEREAS, Hamilton County has begun to acquire property for 

         the construction of Phase 4 of the Riverpark; and
              WHEREAS, leases for various properties are necessary in 
order
         to complete Phase 4; and
              WHEREAS, the acquisition of the property is in the best
         interest of the City of Chattanooga and Hamilton County;
              NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE 
CITY
         OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, that the Mayor or Administrator of 
the
         Department of Parks and Recreation be and are hereby authorized 
to
         execute all leases necessary to acquire property for the
         construction of Phase 4 of the Riverpark.
